Physical Education
River Bluff Physical Education Department
Physical education engages students in developing and maintaining a health-related level of fitness, finding personal meaning and enjoyment in physical activity; expressing themselves as unique individuals; interacting positively with others in social settings; and participating in sports and the activities of our culture, both as children and as adults. A physically educated person knows the implications and benefits from involvement in physical activity. This person also values physical activity and its contributions to a healthy lifestyle. Our goal is to promote a lifetime of physical fitness through a variety of sports and leisure pursuits.
